VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT
Recognizing the importance of defending the rights of Immigrants as embodied therein, I agree to volunteer for the Mississippi Immigrants' Rights Alliance. The types of work covered and times that I will generally commit to are as noted on this form.

Furthermore, I agree to:

1. Become a member of MIRA if not already. After I have joined and assisted as a volunteer for a year, MIRA will renew my membership upon receipt of my renewal form.
2. Serve at the pleasure of the Executive Director and take direction from same or a designated representative.
3. Keep all sensitive information such as complaints, membership in the MIRA and demographic data related thereto and similarly situated items confidential.
4. Leave all material in the office unless specifically authorized in writing to remove same by the Executive Director.
5. Notify the Executive Director or the designated representative if my commitment level changes or if an emergency comes up that prevents my attendance as committed.
6. Close down and secure the office if alone or in charge to finish a task in staff absence.
